Craftsmanship and networking: this is the motto of the annual conference, which brings together science journalists, researchers and communicators to exchange ideas on current journalistic and scientific topics in discussions, lectures and workshops. As the largest science journalism event in the German-speaking world, the three-day dialog forum has been a central meeting point for networking within the community since 2004.

con gressa was involved in the redesign of WISSENSWERTE and organized the event for the first time in 2024 in the new format for the Wissenschaftspressekonferenz e. V. As a venue, Heidelberg University offered a special backdrop and created an interface to the scientific community. Excursions to renowned research institutions in the region provided participants with exciting insights and networking opportunities.
