Tenure Track Conference
As an innovative form of conference documentation, we created a multimedia one-pager for the University of Jena in the style of a scrollytelling for the Tenure Track Conference 2025.
The tenure track principle is intended to make academic career paths more predictable and transparent: it offers academics in the early stages of their careers the prospect of being appointed to a permanent professorship after successfully completing a probationary period, without further advertising or appointment procedures.
At the second tenure track conference in May 2025, experts and researchers at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities discussed the structural and cultural changes that the tenure track principle could bring about in the academic system – and how similar models could also be used for positions beyond professorship.
Conference documentation in a contemporary format
In order to preserve the results of the conference for the long term and make them accessible to a wider audience, we recorded the content and discussions in a multimedia one-pager. To this end, we developed the content concept, conducted background interviews, wrote summaries of the panels and transferred the content into a coherent overall structure. We were also responsible for the design concept and development of the documentation website.
