Building Bridges

International power for the future of the next generations! For the third year in a row, we organized the 2025 International Science Conference, which brought together around 300 young researchers from Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland and other predominantly Eastern and Central European countries discussed the framework conditions for good science and knowledge transfer in business and society with political representatives. The format is funded by the Saxon state government.

Science connects – it builds bridges across geographical, political and social boundaries. With this in mind, the “Building Bridges for the Next Generations” conference was held in Dresden in 2023. Building on this success, the follow-up event “Building Bridges for a Net Zero Future” was held in 2024 to continue the fruitful dialog that was initiated between the international partners in Central Europe.

In 2025, the focus was on “Latest Findings in Artificial Intelligence”. In addition to keynotes, panel discussions, workshops and matchmaking sessions, the main focus was on European cooperation in the field of AI: in addition to representatives from Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary, this time we were also able to welcome some participants from Lithuania – this year’s guest country.
